What is G2G?
Set up in 2018, the Garment-to-Garment (G2G) Recycle System is the mini-scale production line set up in a retail shop recycling post-consumer garment to a new one. It demonstrates integral and closed-loop garment recycling process. It is an environmentally friendly process without using any water and chemicals.
G2G Recycle Process
The recycling process can be configured in a 40-foot container, including the 3-in-1 Integrated Opening-Cleaning-Carding System with AI algorithms to optimise the system.

Sanitisation
Sanitise the collected garment

Opening
Open fabric pieces into small tufts and remove dust
03
Cleaning
Divide small tufts into fibre clumps and remove trash
04
Carding
Separate fibre clumps into individual fibres and orient them into sliver
05
Drawing
Elongate several slivers into one to straighten fibres and improve evenness
06
Spinning
Feed sliver into spinning machine and twist fibres into single yarn
07
Doubling & Twisting
Twist single yarns into ply yarn, to enhance strength and balance torque
08
Knitting
Knitting process with the options of knitted panels or 3D fully fashioned sweater and dress
